July 26, 2024 – In recognition of her outstanding contributions to peace, human rights, and social activism, Dr. Thejo Kumari Amudhala has been awarded the prestigious Kargil Yodha Samman.
Dr. Amudhala, who was crowned Mrs. Universe in 2022, has been a relentless advocate for global peace and human rights. Her efforts have earned her the title of Global Peace and World Human Rights Ambassador. The Fair Vision Foundation, in association with the Government of India, proudly presented this certificate of appreciation to Dr. Amudhala on this significant day.
The Kargil Yodha Samman is a tribute to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society, much like the brave soldiers honored on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Celebrated every year on July 26, Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorates the victory of Indian armed forces over Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil War. This day is a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices of our soldiers, and Dr. Amudhala’s recognition aligns with the spirit of this national celebration.
Ravi Verma, Founder of the Fair Vision Foundation, and Aheshet Bhashyap, Co-founder, highlighted Dr. Amudhala’s invaluable contributions to society. The foundation, since its inception in 2023, has been dedicated to honoring individuals who embody the spirit of service and dedication to the nation.
As the nation celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas, let us also acknowledge and honor the efforts of individuals like Dr. Thejo Kumari Amudhala, who tirelessly work towards making the world a better place.
